Central Railway Recruitment 2022: The Central Railway (CR) Byculla has invited the Experienced Candidates Eligible for the Post Senior Resident in the Head-Quarter Hospital. The Experience Applicants meeting the Eligibility Criteria for Senior Resident (Ophthalmology and General Surgery) prescribed in the Recruitment Notification may fill up the Specimen Application Proforma coupled with all the Testimonials. The Candidates shall have to reach the Interview Venue with their Applications complete in all respects with the Mandatory Testimonials as mentioned in the central railway recruitment Advertisement 2022.
Selection Process: Selection to the Post of Senior Residents (Ophthalmology and General Surgery) against 02 Vacancies shall be through a Walk-in-Interview and Verification of Documents to be held on 2nd September 2022 as detailed in the subsequent Part.

Emoluments: Sr. Residents with Master’s/Post-Graduate Degree Pay: Rs.26950.00 (Basic) Plus Rs.6600.00 (Grade Pay), Pay Band-3
NPA & (Rs. 15600 to Rs.39100) Plus other Relevant Allowance as per the Railway Board’s Guidelines issued from time to time.
Age Limit: For General Category Candidates Appointment as Senior Residents 40 Years for those having Post-Graduate Qualification.
Minimum Educational Qualification:
Post-Graduate Degree/DM/DNB or Diploma in the Concerned Specialty from the University recognized by the Central Government/State Government.
In case of Non-availability of the Deserving Candidates in particular Specialty, without PG Qualification but with Minimum 03-Years’ Experience Post-MBBS out of which 01-Year’s Junior Residency in the Government Hospital in the Concerned Specialty is likely to be considered for One-Year’s span only subject to the Condition that Fresh Selection Process required to be done towards the Year-end. Another Year’s Extension may also be accorded to the MBBS Doctor with 03-Years’ Experience in case of the Candidate with Diploma/PG/DNB/DM Applies. However Total Period of the Extension shall remain Limited to Total 03-Years under the Senior Residency Scheme.
