ICMR Recruitment 2023: Apply For Project Research Associate and Laboratory Assistant Posts
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)-National Institute of Research in Tribal Health (NIRTH) is inviting eligible candidates for the recruitment of Project Research Associate and Laboratory Assistant. The recruitment drive is for 02 vacancies, one for each post. The appointment will be on a temporary and contract basis for a period up to 01.07.2023, which may be extended up to one year before the completion of the project.

- Project Research Associate: 01 vacancy for UR category
- Laboratory Assistant: 01 vacancy for OBC category
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for the post of Project Research Associate is 40 years, and for the post of Laboratory Assistant is 28 years (Relaxable by three for OBC as per DoPT GOI).
Qualification and Experience:
For Project Research Associate: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M.S./ M.Pharm/ME/ M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
For Laboratory Assistant: High School or equivalent with five years experience in a related field from a Government Institution or recognized Institute or certificate of 01 year of training in the relevant area or ITI or National trade certificate of National council for vocational training and successful completion of ATS in relevant trade from a Government recognized board. Intermediate with science subject and B.Sc. shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years experience respectively.
Salary:
Selected candidates for the post of Project Research Associate will get a monthly salary of Rs.47000 plus 18% HRA, and the selected candidates for the post of Laboratory Assistant will get a monthly salary of Rs.17760.
Tenure:
The appointment is purely made on a temporary and contract basis for a period up to 01.07.2023, but may be extended up to one year till the completion of the project.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a walk-in interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for the interview. The interview will be held on 05.04.2023 from 9:00 AM onwards at ICMR-National Institute of Research in Tribal Health, Nagpur Road, Post Garha, Jabalpur Pin-482003.
