JKBOSE Change of date of Examination of Higher Secondary Part 1 (Class 11th) Examination
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has rescheduled the examination dates for the Higher Secondary Part-1 (Class 11th) Annual (Regular) 2023 Soft Zone Areas of UT of J&K. The examination dates for the subjects of Computer Science, Information Practices, Environmental Science, Functional English, Physical Education, Islamic Studies, Vedic Studies, Buddhist Studies, Travel, Tourism and Hotel Management, English Literature, and Food Technology were previously scheduled for 16th April 2023 (Sunday).
However, the board has decided to reschedule these examination dates to 26th April 2023 (Wednesday) in view of the N.D.A examination to be conducted by U.P.S.C on the same date across the country. This decision has been taken in the best interest of the students to avoid any confusion or inconvenience.
All the concerned students, parents, and teachers are advised to take note of this change in the examination schedule and make the necessary arrangements accordingly. The board has also requested all the schools and institutions to inform the students about the change in the examination dates and ensure that they are well prepared for the exams.
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is responsible for conducting the annual and bi-annual examinations for students of Class 10th and 12th in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The board conducts these examinations twice a year in the summer and winter zones of the state.
