- Clinical Psychologist/Psychiatric Social Worker: The candidate should possess a First or Second Class M.A./M.Sc. degree in Psychology/First- or Second-class M.A/M.S.W Degree in Medical Psychiatric Social Work/M.Sc in Psychiatric Nursing, from a recognized institute as per Indian Nursing Council. Additional qualifications and competencies like M.Phil in clinical Psychology/M. Phil Psychiatric Social work/PhD, clinical and/or research experience in Telemedicine and/or Tele-training, and experience of working with multidisciplinary research teams are desirable. The age limit for the post is up to 45 years, and the remuneration is Rs. 35,000/- per month.
- Technical Coordinators/Project Coordinators: The candidate should have a BE/B.Tech in Computer Sciences/MCA. Experience in setting up infrastructure and maintenance of IT for healthcare institutions and office administration, preferably in public projects or telemedicine projects, is desirable. The age limit for the post is up to 45 years, and the remuneration is Rs. 21,645/- per month.
- Counsellor: The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or other related disciplines like MA Psychology. Experience in mental healthcare delivery and counseling is desirable. The age limit for the post is up to 45 years, and the remuneration is Rs. 23,400/- per month.

District Level Posts under National Mental Health Programme (NMHP)
The posts available at the district level under the National Mental Health Programme (NMHP) include Programme Officer/Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, and Psychiatric Social Worker. The eligibility criteria and remuneration for each post are as follows:
- Programme Officer/Psychiatrist: The candidate should have an MBBS with MD/DNB in Psychiatry or an equivalent degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India. Alternatively, an MBBS with 3 or 6 months NIMHANS training in Psychiatry/Junior Residency Experience is also eligible. The age limit for the post is up to 65 years, and the remuneration is Rs. 85,000/- per month in case of a specialist and Rs. 35,000/- per month plus a special incentive of Rs. 15,000/- per month in case of MBBS.
