Principal GDC Gurez Booked For Allegedly Sexually Harassing Female Subordinate

Bandipora, Nov 03: Police have booked a principal of Government Degree College Gurez in

North Kashmir’s Bandipora district for allegedly sexually harassing his subordinate in the

college, officials said on Thursday.

An official told that a female employee of the college had lodged a written complaint, stating

that she was being sexually harassed by the principal.

He said that based on the complaint a case FIR No: 13/2022 under section 354-A, 506 IPC

was registered at PS Gurez.

According to sources-Principal Firstly try to be friendly with her employee in GDC Gurez by

talking about her job in GDC Gurez, because she is recently appointed as Class 4th as Librarian

in GDC Gurez. Then he misused his position and do calls to her for nonsense talks like what are you doing and much more.

That employee told her parents that her Principal calls her but that innocent parents told her that

he is your Principal and Staff always calls each others but they don’t no the intimations behind that calls.

From another source– One day Principal Gurez called her at mid night and says that I have to say something very special tomorrow morning.

Next morning Principal told that employee that I like you very much and I want to marry you,

I keep you very happy and much more, then that employee told her Parents again that Principal

talk me like this.

That employee is very much disturbed and wants to resign from her job.

The official added that further investigation into the matter was going on
