Candidates who wish to apply for SSC CGL 2023 Exam can visit the official website of SSC and click on the “Apply” link to start the online registration process. Before applying, candidates are advised to read the official notification carefully and ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. They should also keep all the necessary documents such as educational certificates, photograph, signature, etc. ready in the prescribed format. SSC CGL 2023 Application Fee
The application fee for SSC CGL 2023 exam is Rs. 100/-. However, female candidates, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying any fee. The fee can be paid through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. The challan form will be generated online for candidates who wish to pay in cash. After completing Part-1 registration, the candidate should take a printout of the generated challan and deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI before proceeding with Part-2 registration. For candidates who prefer online payment, they can directly go to Part-2 registration after completing Part-1 registration. To continue with Part-2 registration, the candidate must supply their registration number and date of birth.

SSC CGL 2023 Selection Process
The SSC CGL 2023 selection process has been revised and will be conducted in four tiers. The first tier will be a Computer-Based Examination, which will be qualifying in nature. Candidates who have applied successfully for the exam will be assigned Roll numbers and Admit Card for appearing in Tier-I. Based on the marks scored in Tier-I, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II and Tier-III Examinations. Separate cut-offs will be released for Paper-II of Tier-II (for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)), Paper-III of Tier-II (for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer) and for Paper-I of Tier-II (for all other posts). All candidates who have qualified in Tier-I will have to appear in Tier-II, which will include Paper-I, II and III. However, only specific candidates shortlisted for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer will be required to appear in Paper-II and Paper-III, respectively. The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in all the tiers of the SSC CGL 2023 Examination.
